~ Work closely with the Director, Cinematographer, and Key Grip to determine and create the visual look and feel of the film through lighting.
~ Read the script to know and special lighting needs of the film.
~ Ability to decide the proper placement of light for every scene.
~ Advance skills in lighting and understand how lighting affects the feel of the film,
~ Background knowledge in electricity.
~ Selecting and managing lights and lighting equipment.
