1. Assist the camera operator in positioning and moving the camera.
2.  Responsible for inspecting the equipment to verify that it is in good working order.
3. Watch and monitor filming sets closely to determine if problems are present in regards to camera angles and lighting.
4. Responsible for loading and unloading film magazines.
5. Responsible for charging camera batteries.
