1. Ensure that when different takes and scenes are finally edited the production does not contain distracting continuity errors. 2. Keep track of the script and any changes that actors make. 3. Oversees the continuity of the motion picture including wardrobe, props, set dressing, hair, makeup and the actions of the actors during a scene.
