1. Responsible for operating the editing technology as well as interacting with various people on the filmmaking staff, particularly the camera, film lab and sound department. 2. Oversee the various lists and instructions necessary to put the film into its final form. 3. Set tasks, usually helping each other when necessary to complete the many time-sensitive tasks at hand.
