- Oversees the continuity of the motion picture including wardrobe, props, set dressing, hair, makeup and the actions of the actors during a scene.
- Work as part of the camera department to make sure that the production has continuous verbal and visual integrity.
- Ensure that when different takes and scenes are finally edited the production does not contain distracting continuity errors.
