Project Description

Hi everyone! I’m looking to hire a composer for a narrative short film currently in post-production. The film is an intimate, character-driven story that leans heavily on mood and emotion, with music playing a key role in shaping the audience’s connection to the story.

LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO CAN:
- Create an emotionally grounded, cinematic score that supports subtle storytelling
- Translate story beats and character arcs into musical themes
- Collaborate closely with the director during post-production
- Work thoughtfully with introspective themes and quiet emotional moments
- Be based in Toronto (preferred), though remote collaboration is welcome
- Finalize the score between December 28 – January 3

This is a PAID OPPORTUNITY. While this is an indie short with a controlled budget, fair compensation will be offered based on experience and scope.
