Kino - Demo project for director contest
Project Description
[sample description] I'm leading a KinoT.O. challenge film. The challenge is 'fight'. Our idea is to explore a genre while also trying a memorable experiment. 'What'd you say' will be filmed like an HK action scene and all the dialog will be in Cantonese. However, we'll teach the lines to the actors phonetically. I've friends who were pretty hard on Chow Yun-Fat about his accent, we'll see if we can do better (or have some fun failing.) This is not an entirely original idea, Takashi Miike did something a little similar with Japanise actors.
