The Girl (Female, 12–16): Cautious and intuitive. She becomes the audience’s anchor — wounded by a tragic loss, protective of her friend, vulnerable, brave and defiant against the witch. Role involves minor stunts (running, falling to the ground, crawling, forcefully swinging a medium sized object against wall). Safety mats and other precautions will be in place. Experience with movement (dance, gymnastics, etc.) is an asset but not required.
